The Ottawa, Arnprior, and Parry Sound Railway

The OA&PS R.R., once the busiest rail line in Canada, operated from 1897 to 1959 in central and eastern Ontario. The route through Algonquin Park is attributed with the growth of the park’s development as a tourist destination in the early half of the century.
