May

May witnessed the beautification of a downtown alley and a Ford City crosswalk, as well as the opening of Windsor’s oldest house - the Duff-Baby House - to the public. It saw the inaugural game at the Miracle Field Baseball Diamond, the start of an impressive playoff run by the Windsor Spitfires, and a dominant Sandwich track team. May also saw the reuniting of first responders with their patients, the start of the provincial election and sadly the end of Birdie’s Perch in Leamington. And sadly, while on vacation at my cottage in Gaylord Michigan, a deadly E-2 tornado.
